Geijes Tristan Trueman, V4 |
Mrs Borst-Borreman started her judging with evergy and no concern. I mean her evaluation of American coat type, which she believes does not correspond to the standard, according to her 30 years breeding experiences. Dull, cottonly, mostly straight coat makes bad impression of type and breed. Dogs showed with this coat type, often together with wrong colour were judged with very good or good. There was also last year World Winner with American coat among them. I respect very much this strict keeping all points of standard. There are lot of problems with misinterpretation of the FCI standard for Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier not only in the Czech Republic. World Winner Show is the finale of all show season and it is great experience to watch judge working according to standard. American Wheatens did not get better result than very good. Those with other colour than wheaten, white, grey, with black muzzle got even good.
