I have met lot of Wheaten owners and breeders from all over the world last
years. I have learned a lot. Wheatens run through dramatic changes in coat type,
colour, tail carriage. Why do people change antient Irish breed? Why do not they
keep it in original type? I belong among the advocates of original breed type.
As the result I have bought male with pure Irish
pedigree in year 1999 FINN. Now I go the way of pure Irish breeding
of dogs with beautiful Irish wavy coat withhout any other American or English blood.
My dogs have health tests done
for possible hereditary diseases like HD or PRA.
The first pure Irish litter
was bred in early summer in 2004. More information about this litter you find
in
litter C.
The second pure Irish litter was bred in summer 2005, look for more info at
litter D. We are very happy with puppies, some of them
already started to visit dog shows, some of them have already obedience trial.
Founding female of kennel Wheaten Darling "Petra" unfortunately died of cancer in February 2005.
We are still thinking of her with love.
