Coursing belongs to
hound races. The pair of dogs is running and trying to catch red - white tassel from
polythene. How does it go together with terriers?
Sniff lost tassel,
but is still looking for it.

Wheatens are full of temperament and they have a bit of hunting sense inside.
Coursing is opened not only for hound dogs, but for all breeds and mixed dogs as well
in the Czech Republic. Judging of coursing is not just about the speed and time,
but also about interest of dog, brightness while running the racecourse.
There are more Wheatens now racing regularly. It is lot of fun for dogs and owners
as well.
I have also visited race Sunday with Karla and Finn. It was very funny. Karla was realy
disgusted by idea of running and catching piece of polythene. She did not move a inch from
the start. Finn got little more interested, but he was running very slowly and after couple
metres he decided to return back to me. He looked smiling and I assumed he wanted to tell me:
"Good, what do you think? I can run, but do not want this from me!" It means we ended with coursing.
The only Pamppy seems to understood the race and is being better and enjoyes it.
Thanks for the pictures to Dog Jíra.
